The hike starts from Passo Bordala, following trail SAT 623 which gently ascends through beech and fir woods with a moderate slope, then following the trail that gradually exits the forest, crossing alpine meadows with wide views of the Vallagarina and climbs along the ridge to the summit of Monte Stivo (2,059 m).

From the summit, you can admire Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, Val di Gresta, and Paganella.

The descent is along the opposite side, taking trail SAT 617 which leads to Rifugio Marchetti, with a steady descent through pastures and woods, until reaching the locality of Sant'Antonio.

From Sant'Antonio, take trail SAT 623B which crosses deciduous and coniferous woods and returns to the starting point, completing a charming hiking loop.
